A commemorative make-good
gghiker has added a photo to the pool: We took a trip out of town last weekend that included dining and a sunset on Mount Mitchell. Well, the dining was excellent, but the cloud that parked itself on top of the mountain never let up or blew away, so we couldn’t really see much of anything, much less a sunset. And I didn’t get any new photos out of it, but here’s one from last year of the new tower itself that I never got around to posting. And I wish I had something new to add, but it didn’t work out that way. We still had a wonderful time, but no views. Sorry, folks, that’s the way it goes sometimes.
