Lonnie Crotts has added a photo to the pool: Table Rock Mountain on the east rim of the Linville Gorge, near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina. Table Rock has a most unusual profile. The peak of Table Rock is quite rectangular with a narrow depth that has a concave appearance not unlike a wave from the side view. It is the highly recognizable feature from the Blue Ridge Parkway’s Linn Cove Viaduct while travelling south.
