Winter Sunset

MVJ on February 21st, 2010

BlueRidgeKitties has added a photo to the pool: Just after sunset near Mount Jefferson Overlook, along the Blue Ridge Parkway. This would be a perfect spot to watch the sunset, but I was a few minutes too late getting there to still capture the sun. However, I wasn’t the only one out there. There were very few people on the Parkway (I counted a grand total of three cars) and all of them had cameras and were stopping for pictures. At this spot, a fellow photographer had set up his tripod and camera to shoot the sunset. I guess only people addicted to photography would be crazy enough to brave an icy road with slippery slopes just to take a couple of pictures. *LOL* Taken on Feb. 20, 2010, near Mount Jefferson Overlook (milepost 267) – elevation 3699 ft
